The Dance Center is by far the best dance school you could attend in the area. The portion of staff dedicated to ballet is well educated in the Vaganova syllabus and those who teach other genera's of dance are also very well equipped to teach what they teach. The Dance Center staff is very approachable and sincere- whether it be a question of dance, technique or life. The studio itself is a warm environment; the dressing rooms are bright and arranged with a great use of space as well as three ample sized studios and a brand new, beautiful lounge area. It is a great convenience to have The Village Dance Shoppe attached to the studio. Anything you could need from clothing to sewing or hair supplies is at your fingertips. Just want to say I have been dancing at the Dance Center for a number of years now and how lucky I feel to have a professional studio with teachers and a director who warmly welcome and appreciate adult dancers.  The Wednesday morning class is a joy.  The dancers are a nice mix ranging from students who danced as children, to  others  who more recently have realized an adult dream come true, college students earning degrees, people who seek an outstanding form of fitness, as well as active and retired dancers enjoying their craft. Altogether it  is a healthy mix of upbeat, friendly, supportive people. When I am there, the problems of the world drop away.  And when I leave, I feel exhilarated and ready for anything.  Jeannie H.

The Dance Center is the official school of the Brandywine Ballet, Chester County's premier professional ballet company. The staff has good profiessional dance experience and special guest teachers and choreographers are a common occurrence. While their tap dance program is a little weak, their jazz curriculum is improving dramatically. Ballet is their stron suit, however, and it would be hard to find a better program.

I could not believe how great this program was. A friend of mine had recommended I try The Dance Center for my daughter after I had a horrible experience elsewhere. I am so glad I did.

I have been dancing at the Dance Center for 8 years now, and I can honestly say that there is nowhere else I would rather be. Recently, the Village Dance Shoppe, the dressing rooms and a student lounge were all renovated, and it is so nice to have access to these. What has kept me at the Dance Center all of these years, however, is the faculty. The teachers provide such a high quality of instruction, while at the same time getting to know their dancers personally and showing genuine support and concern for the well-being of each one of them. With their help, I have grown more as a dancer than I ever thought I would, but I have also grown as a person, gaining confidence and learning the power of dedication and hard work.
